2026 Learning Groups

Learning Groups offer great opportunities to receive support for your development as a professional coach, deepen your mastery of coaching, connect with your colleagues, and explore new territory ... and many of them offer CCEs!

NOTE:  You must be registered for the learning group in order to participate AND you need to be present at the group sessions [in-person or virtual] to be eligible for receiving CCEs.)

All of the groups are included with your ICF-CO annual fee - no matter how many you join!

As you prepare to register for 2026 Learning Groups, please keep in mind that unlike one-off a la carte events (such as our webinars and monthly chapter meetings), many of these groups are designed to be ongoing. Given that participants build on their development and their connection to the group over the course of the year, attendance at all sessions is essential in order to get the most out of the experience. Your ongoing presence in the learning groups to which you commit truly matters, so if you sign up, we ask that you plan to show up on a regular basis. Most of the groups meet virtually (on Zoom), some groups may do a hybrid combo of virtual and in-person (depending on current health precautions and other factors).

*Group Size is limited and most groups are designed as a continuing cohort for the year, so we suggest that you grab your spot quickly and plan to attend on a regular basis! Once you have registered, you will receive confirmation of group details and logistics.

All Learning Groups are included with your ICF Colorado Season Pass membership fee.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) was developed as a therapeutic model and has gained a lot of attention, and has recently been adapted for coaching. This is a "parts work" model, meaning that it assumes we relate to ourselves as subpersonalities, or parts. Coaching with IFS is a very effective way of dissecting the problem into smaller pieces that are more easily managed.

This training and practice group is appropriate for coaches at all levels of experience with IFS or parts work. We will explore how parts show up in ourselves and our clients, the model of IFS for coaches, and how to practice it at all levels from the most superficial to the deepest work with parts.

This group is designed for coaches living in the brave new world where Artificial Intelligence platforms and tools are abundant and quickly evolving. With this in mind, the primary focus will be on how AI can assist us as coaches. Within this focus, there will be 3 primary threads of AI assistance: improving us as coaches, delivering better results for our clients, and making running our businesses easier. Across each of these threads, we will ensure adequate conversation of the associated ethics of what's (in)appropriate and (un)acceptable. Participants will share tools and AI experiences, learn from others, and experiment together, exiting each session with hands-on experience trying different tools out and a better understanding of how to leverage platforms and tools.

Coaching Supervision is a collaborative space of support, self-discovery and professional development for coaches. This Learning Group consists of reflecting together on various topics of our coaching practice. You will be invited to share your thoughts in a safe environment on your journey to becoming masterful in the way you work with your clients.

Supervision differs from Mentor Coaching. Our dialogue on your coaching work will focus on moving beyondthe technical skills of coaching into bringing your genuine self into each coaching session.

The ICF acknowledges that this important work benefits both coaches and clients and will qualify for core competency credits. This is a drop-in group; while we encourage you to come back, you don’t have to attend every time to get value. Everyone who attends learns from hearing about coaching work from all levels of experience.

In an era shaped by artificial intelligence, our capacity for creativity, storytelling, and authentic human connection has never been more essential. This monthly complimentary learning group invites coaches to explore imaginative and embodied ways to deepen self-awareness, creative expression, and professional presence through different modalities such as art, movement, nature, and energy awareness.

A crucial part of coaching is the process of making people think—inviting curiosity, reflection, and transformation. The more tools you have, the more confidently you can navigate each conversation. This learning group helps you build a creative “toolbox” you can draw from with your clients—allowing for a playful, joyful, and authentic approach to learning and growth.
