2026 Core Competencies with Dana Breitenstein

About this event

This group is designed to focus on a Core Competency and its associated PCC Markers as developed by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Beginning with Competency #1: Demonstrates Ethical Practice and ending with Core Competency #8: Facilitates Client Growth, we will take an in-depth look at a different competency each month. The session is facilitated by an ICF assessor who will share key content as well as best practices for each competency.  The sessions will also be highly interactive and will draw on the expertise and experience of those in the session.

Developing an understanding of the relationship between the Core Competencies and the PCC markers
Increased coaching skills
Motivation, support and accountability for pursuing your next ICF credential

Experiential Learning Through:
Discussion of each Core Competency with your coaching colleagues
Peer coaching with a colleague in breakout rooms
Use of the PCC Markers to frame the feedback discussion during peer coaching

Other Logistics:
You must be registered for this learning group and attend the full hour to receive the CCE credit for that month’s meeting.  Registering for this learning group does not obligate you to be present at each monthly meeting. Attend as you are able.

Facilitator:  



Dana Breitenstein, PCC is a global executive coach specializing is coaching senior executives leading global teams.  A Colorado native, she recently relocated back to Denver, after 25 years in Hong Kong where she coached executives and their teams throughout Asia Pacific. She is a PCC, an ICF Coach Mentor and has an MA in Organizational Development from Columbia University.
