Embody Your Creativity in Coaching: Field Trip Experience
This in-person field trip is part of the Embody Your Creativity in Coaching series and invites coaches to explore embodied and energetic approaches that deepen awareness, presence, and insight in client work.
When clients feel stuck, insight doesn’t always come from another question. Sometimes it emerges through the body. This experiential learning event offers coaches the opportunity to step beyond cognitive approaches and engage movement and energy awareness as powerful tools in the coaching relationship.
Module 1: Moving with Meaning (9:30am - 10:45am)
Facilitated by Laurie Pemberton, this session uses guided movement and dance to explore how physical expression can unlock insight, bypass mental blocks, and reveal what words alone cannot. No dance experience is required—movement is approached as a form of listening and inquiry, not performance.
Module 2: Reading Energy Through Jin Shin Jyutsu (11:00–12:00 pm)
Led by Maria Chuapoco, this session introduces Jin Shin Jyutsu, an ancient art of harmonizing energy through gentle awareness of the body. Coaches will explore how clients’ habitual gestures, postures, and physical cues can offer valuable information about emotional and energetic states.
Together, these modules support coaches in expanding how they observe, sense, and respond to clients—strengthening intuition, presence, and creativity in coaching practice.
Facilitators
• Laurie Pemberton — Movement guide with over 20 years of experience; Founder of Alchemia Dance
• Maria Chuapoco — Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner since age 15, trained by pioneers of this healing art
