HeartWise: How Has the Pandemic Affected You?

We'll briefly share our new brand "HeartWise," based on our recently-published book by that title, explaining what we mean by that term. The bulk of the session will be devoted to asking participants to write responses to three well-crafted, evocative questions about their pandemic experience and learning. We'll then invite those who want to share their responses to two of those questions--ones that are especially designed to facilitate healing and growth. We'll end by inviting questions and additional comments, and include an uplifting practice to close.

BIOS

Jim Sharon, a licensed psychologist, and Ruth Sharon, a licensed professional counselor, have worked together in private practice as psychotherapists since 1976. The Sharons also serve as couples' coaches and retreat facilitators. They have been active members of the CO chapter of ICF for six years, having also served as board members.

The Sharons recently founded HeartWise Relationship Academy, which offers online courses presented by relationship experts from around the U.S. They have published six books, including HeartWise: Deepening and Evolving Love Relationships, which was published in January 2021.

Jim and Ruth have been married since 1970, have raised three adult children, and currently have three granddaughters.
