February 2019 In-Person Meeting: PCC Markers: Behaviors of the Professional Certified Coach

PCC Markers: Behaviors of the Professional Certified Coach

February 7, 2019
6:00-8:30pm MT

In-Person Meeting

CCEs: 1 in Core Competencies and 0.5 in Resource Development

Speaker: Tom Krapu, PhD, PCC

Description:

The PCC Markers are the measure of the Core Competencies. We’ll learn about the history of how these developed.

Then we will dig deep into the 2.x Markers, the ones focused on Establishing the Coaching Agreement. We’ll see how these are used to evaluate PCC level coaching, and how they are integrated into mentor coaching. Finally, suggestions will be offered how to integrate the Markers into participant's ongoing development as a coach.

The ICF's PCC Markers are the measure of whether you are coaching. Understanding the Markers and integrating them into your coaching practice will help you develop world class coaching skills based on validated behaviors for each core competency. You will learn how to develop all the Markers to continuously improve your coaching skills.

You will also have the chance to experience Tom’s assessment tool which is based on these Markers.

What you’ll learn:
  • Knowledge of the Markers, their purpose, and integration with ICF’s Core Competencies
  • What the five Markers are for forming Coaching Agreements
  • Ability to apply Coaching Agreement Markers in your own coaching

Attendees will be invited to join a closed LinkedIn discussion group to dig in further to this topic.
