Whether in 1:1 coaching or with groups or teams, you may need to nurture deep relationships with clients and participants whom you have never met in-person. Many coaches and clients assume that it is harder to deepen relationships online than when you are in a room together. The good news is that the virtual meeting space has specific characteristics that can actually help us to become more close and personal than we imagined possible. By focusing on these aspects of online work and making good use of them, we can create trust and intimacy online every time.
Zora will share recommendations based on her experience of connecting with her clients online over many years. You will have the opportunity to try things out and explore how and where you might apply the skills discussed.
Among other topics, we shall cover:
- Creating emotional safety online
- Seeing through the eye of the camera
- Balancing structure and flow
- Vulnerability and self-disclosure
- Working with strong emotions online
- Nurturing community through online events
Your takeaway will be a personal action plan for moving beyond your comfort zone when working online, and for developing specific skills to deepen your relationships with your current and future clients.
ICF-CO training for skills in Zoom, presentations, and online events
Many of our members have recognized the need to increase our skills in participating in, presenting, and organizing online events. And since this is what we've been living in 2020, we decided to create a forum for learning and sharing best practices!
These sessions will be recorded as free resources for ICF-CO members.
