ICF Colorado is looking for four kinds of education programs

  • In-person presentations at our monthly meetings
  • One hour virtual presentations (webinars)
  • Longer in-person workshops
  • A series or program which takes attendees through a progression of steps over time

Our top priority is to deliver compelling educational value to the ICF-Colorado community, and thus we invite you to partner with us in assuring that the quality of your presentation brings an impactful and value-added offering for the professional growth of our members. Please note that this is NOT the process for speaking at our yearly conference, although if you do make a submission, we’ll let you know when the conference call-for-speakers opens up if it seems appropriate. In-Person Presentations at Our Monthly Meetings:

  • Speakers are not compensated for their time.
  • We don’t charge speakers for attending the meeting, and you’re welcome to participate in any of the activities that evening, including our Special Interest Groups (SIGs).
  • We seek CCEUs from ICF when appropriate (that’s highly desired).
  • We will publicize your presentation through:
    •  Our newsletter
    • Our website
    • Social media (to the extent that it comes out of our newsletter)
    • A quick “teaser” at the prior meeting, informing them of upcoming programs
  • We will not directly share with you the email addresses for attendees. Of course, they’re always free to contact you through your website and sign up for information. If you send us a message directly after the event including relevant pointers and resources, we will send it out to the participants as a one-time message. That should include information for how people can best contact you for more information.
  • We allow you a SHORT mention of additional programs or products that you might be offering. A discount for ICF-CO members and affiliates is greatly appreciated.
  • We’ll have a table outside the room if you have books or brochures or business cards.
  • We also encourage you to expand your visibility through our Colorado Coach Connection. It’s not expensive, and reaches an even broader audience.

One Hour Virtual Presentations (Webinars)

  • The price should be in the range of $10-$50, depending on the value delivered.  We ask a minimum $10 because participants need to have SOME skin in the game, and $50 seems to be about at the high end of market value.  We will work with you to establish a reasonable price for the webinar.
  • We will split the revenue 50-50 with you.
  • We absolutely require that you deliver compelling value to our members and affiliates.
  • We will help you with event registration and online payment.
  • We have an ICF-CO Zoom line that you can use if it’s available and you like the technology.  It has the ability to record the event for either our usage (like if someone was unable to attend) or for your usage.  We do not restrict your usage of the recording.
  • We request that you give a discount to our members and affiliates of at least 15% off the list price.
  • We seek CCEUs from ICF when appropriate (that’s highly desired).
  • We will publicize your webinar through:
    • Our newsletter
    • Our website
    • Social media (to the extent that it comes out of our newsletter)
    • You can give a 2 minute announcement at a prior meeting (or ask us to read something your provide)
  • We also encourage you to expand your visibility through our Colorado Coach Connection.  It’s not expensive, and reaches an even broader audience. View past issues at this link: https://www.slideshare.net/ICFColorado.
  • You can publicize your webinar to other audiences, and we don’t restrict discounts you might give those people.
  • We will not directly share with you the email addresses for attendees. Of course, they’re always free to contact you through your website and sign up for information. If you send us a message directly after the event including relevant pointers and resources, we will send it out to the participants as a one-time message. That should include information for how people can best contact you for more information.
  • We allow you a SHORT (<5%) mention of additional programs or products that you might be offering.  A discount for ICF-CO members and affiliates is greatly appreciated.
  • You’re welcome to use our Zoom line if it’s available
  • We ask that you supply one free “ticket” for one of our Directors of Education. We’ll help introduce you, announce CCEU details, help during the event as needed, and ensure the quality for our members.

A Series or Program Which Takes Attendees Through a Progression of Steps Over Time

  • We will split the revenue 50-50 with you.
